Bonin is a photographer based in São Paulo, Brazil.

She began in portraiture, documenting youth and the underground music scene in her hometown in the mountains of a small town in Rio. Her practice later expanded into fashion and advertising. In 2014, she moved to London, where she spent three years developing conceptual work that was later published as a photobook.

Bonin holds a postgraduate degree in Photography and Image from IUPERJ.
Alongside her commercial work, she maintains an ongoing artistic practice focused on perception—particularly what precedes the formation of meaning in language. This approach informs a visual language grounded in openness and attention, allowing images to remain unresolved rather than fixed. Her work investigates the image at the limits of legibility, shifting it away from representation toward a more perceptual field.

Bonin has worked with clients including Vogue Brasil, Louis Vuitton, Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, Vivo, C&A, Ellus, Disney+, Pace, New Balance x Artwalk, and The Wire.
