Bonin is a multimedia artist, photographer and director based in São Paulo, Brazil. Growing up in Friburgo, a small mountain town in Rio de Janeiro, her art is deeply rooted in her surroundings and life experiences.

"I believe in the power of iconic images. With both analogue textures and digital formats, I explore light, color, and timeless spaces between people and things. I approach both personal and commercial work with equal care, passion and presence." 
 

Bonin’s journey began with portraiture, documenting the youth and underground music scene in her hometown. From there, her work evolved to art projects, ads, lifestyle, and fashion. She studied cinematography and photography. After moving to London in 2014, she spent three years soaking in the creative energy of the city before moving back to Rio de Janeiro, where she completed a Postgraduate degree in Photography and Image at IUPERJ.
